My Favorite Anime

Imagen
Hello everyone! This week's post is about my favorite anime. To avoid falling into something very common like Death Note (I've watched it so many times with my sister. So much that we know exactly which parts we like to listen in spanish and which ones in japanese), i'm going to talk about an anime that I reeeeeally liked watching when I was a kid: Pokémon (especifically, Kanto or the first generation).  We had the movies in VHS and I vividly remember watching "Pokémon 3: Spell Of The Unown"  over and over again. This anime it’s about a boy named Ash Ketchum who wanted to become a Pokémon master. But he overslept on the day he was going to recieve his first Pokémon, so Professor Oak gave him the only Pokémon that he had left:  Pikachu! But, what I liked the most, was the Spanish dubbing. It’s AMAZING and really funny, especially James’s parts… or should I say… ‘Jamememes’. Down here I will leave you a compilation video of the Rocket Team’s motto just f...

Movies that left a mark on me

Imagen
.  Weeell, First I didn’t remember any movie or series that left a mark on me. Nothing came to my mind, but now I’m at the opposite side: I don’t know which one to choose! So it will be a 2x1 in chronological order.  (I don’t know what a simple task is, I need to complicate everything haha). First is “The curious case of Benjamin Button” a movie of an old looking baby who gets younger and younger while time passes. It shows all his life, the people he meets and the people who went away. Every person teaches him something, and he learned a lot from them. In the end, when he was dying he remembered all of them. Oh, I cried a lot, I’m not gonna lie. A twelve-year-old crying her SOUL out, alone in her bedroom... Oh, good times. This movie taught me what life is, what is love, about letting other people go and at the end, letting yourself go. Then is “Into the Wild”, Such a good movie! I will like to read the book someday in the future. It’s about a young...

My Future Job?

Imagen
When I was a young girl, I wanted to be a fashion designer -typical-, and then I wanted to be a Pintor and then a Writer. The thing is, I always changed my opinion (not just because I was a child, it was because I'm a human being). I don't know what my future job will be, but I can tell you what my ideal job is for me in this moment of my life. I see myself; firstly, working in La Serena's Museum, being part of exhibitions and excursions -learning English and other languages will be important for that-.  Also, I will like to live in a small valley in the country -and do an investigation-, being away for a bit, read a lot of books and write a poetry book –I’m not saying that I write poetry now. Maybe…-. I will also like to have a Boutique and a Coffee Shop –maybe the two in one-, or visit and live in different countries. Damn, I don’t know, I will like to do a lot of things in my life and they all will give me some money (SOME). That makes them a Job?

The best holidays i've ever had

Though it changes all the time, the best holidays i've ever had was last summer. I went to La Serena for Christmas and to celebrate the New Years Eve. I don't know why but I really enjoyed Christmas Time... I made cookies, watched The Grinch (Even though my dad hates Jim Carrey. What?!) and we sang christmas carols in family (well... I forced them). I'm not Christian or Catholic by the way, but Christmas was always a peaceful and beautiful time when I was a kid. I like Jim Carry... maybe i'm adopted... Later, I went Camping with my friends, we chilled, laugh, we talked and enjoyed ourselves before we have to be apart for our universities. It was so fun, because we were drinking in the night and then there was an earthquake! My friend was in the bathroom (you know, doing her thing) and we went looking for her, another friend of mine started running saving her drink (not me, I promise). We couldn't talked to our families until like 3 AM.  ...

A country I would like to visit

Imagen
I would like to go visit Italy. Just because of its mystic beauty and historic architecture. Their lifestyle is what amazes me the most. I expect to visit every single corner of Italy and be surprised to see what lies behind them, enjoy the Italian food, and eat all different typical food all around Italy. I would like to go to Rome, Venice and Turin. Rome and I would like to go because Colosseum it’s in there, a world wonder as well as world’s biggest basilica of Christianity in world’s smallest country.  Rome is historical, and people love history. Venice because is one of a kind, a colorful and romantic city, and people love romance, I would enjoy a travel in one of the famous gondolas. Turin because it was Italy’s first capital city. I love the Architecture, Art and History all around Turin, I would like to visit The National Cinema Museum, the Juventus Stadium and The Egyptian Museum
